Marine phytoplankton, without the fridge or the fuss.
Pure Phyto™ delivers natural marine-based phytoplankton and phycocyanin extract — protein, fats, fatty acids, vitamins, and natural color enhancers — aquacultured in ultra-pure saltwater with no fillers, heavy metals, or harsh extraction chemicals. Especially important for NPS corals, which get no nutrition from photosynthesis at all.
Not all coral nutrition comes from light
Photosynthetic corals get a lot of their energy from zooxanthellae, but non-photosynthetic (NPS) corals get none of it — they rely entirely on what you feed them. Pure Phyto fills that gap with real phytoplankton, the base of the marine food chain, rather than a synthetic substitute.
It's designed to combine easily with the rest of the Step 5 lineup — mix Pure Phyto with Bio-Enhance and Coral Cane for a single complete feeding, or dose it on its own as a standalone broadcast feed.

No refrigeration
Store at room temperature — many phytoplankton products require cold storage, this one doesn't.
Aquacultured, not wild-harvested
Grown in ultra-pure saltwater specifically for this product, for a consistent, clean final product.
Broadcast feeding
Before feeding, turn off skimmer and return pumps; let corals consume it for 30 minutes, then restore normal flow.
Target feeding
Mix 3mL Pure Phyto with 1mL Bio-Enhance and 4mL tank water, then feed gently with a pipette or baster.
Combine with Coral Cane
Add at a ratio of 1mL Pure Phyto plus 1mL Bio-Enhance per scoop of Coral Cane for a complete combined feeding.

Twice-weekly broadcast feeding, scaled to stocking level.
