Defrost the amount of food required ahead of time in the fridge. Please reference feeding guidelines and adjust accordingly for age, size and activity. When transitioning to Smallbatch, mix with your current brand of food for the first 5–7 days. Serve thawed sliders as a meal or as a fresh topper. Feed within 2–3 days after defrosting food for optimal freshness. For nursing or pregnant dogs and puppies, feed approximately 2–3 times the suggested adult feeding guidelines, divided into multiple meals throughout the day. If you have questions about feeding amounts, particularly during gestation or for puppies, we suggest consulting with your veterinarian.
