The "new" Family Pet is, by far, the most outstanding pet store with the best customer service in Rockland! Not only are they the only store that carries and delivers the specialty cat kibble she needs, but at a huge discount than anywhere else. As a non-driving senior, the exceptional owners/managers Doug & Pete really go above and beyond in every way. Special orders, delivering in person so I'll have before weekend, top notch communication. Chewy didn't even carry the flavor dry food she prefers!

I am so grateful that The Family Pet came in and saved our local pet store! It is so nice to shop at a place that is locally owned. A place with friendly knowledgeable staff. Prices are comparable to the big box store while you get the benefit of the products you want and people who care.

Love the customer service at this store. Their Pet Palooza grand opening was informative and helped me to better care for my cat and dog and save money. Being able to shop locally saves me the hassle of having to worry food was delivered to my house and is in the sun on my stoop & having to break up all the boxes and plastic, which is so wasteful!
