Our Chubby Dried US Black Soldier Fly Larvae are raised, grown & dried in Quebeck, North America.
Chubby Dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae are comparable to dried mealworms but have a higher calcium value. Research has shown that natural feed with balanced Ca:P ratios (a perfect treat for hedgehogs) increases animal health and contributes to stronger bones and shiny feathers (in birds).
Calcium is essential for laying birds such as chickens.
Lack of calcium can result in poor laying, soft shells and can cause behaviour problems such as egg eating.
Feeding BSF Larvae as a treat is an excellent way to increase these vital nutrients and we can assure you, they will soon become a favourite!
Black Soldier Fly Larvae have many branded names such as:
