Their soft pearl-gray feathers and gentle pansy-like markings make them one of the most striking varieties we offer. But they’re not just beautiful birds; the Pearl Pansy line is known for calm temperaments, steady egg production, and strong hatchability, making them a favorite for both new and seasoned quail keepers.

Every egg comes from healthy breeder flocks raised on fresh feed, clean water, and lots of love here at Buddy’s Hatchery. We hand-collect and carefully pack each egg to ensure safe delivery and a great start to your hatch. This line has been thoughtfully maintained for even feather color, resilience, and consistent performance in the incubator.

Expect your Pearl Pansy eggs to hatch in about 17 to 18 days. Keep your incubator at 99.5°F with humidity around 45 to 50 percent, then increase to 65 to 70 percent at lockdown. Let your eggs rest pointed side down for 12 to 24 hours before incubating, and resist the urge to wash them — the natural bloom helps protect the chick inside.
